WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS FOR ASSEMBLING THE SELF-STUDY?

There are two options for assembling your Self-Study - electronic and hard copy.

Electronic Self-Study
The electronic Self-Study process allows your agency to submit its evidence of implementation in a standardized template on CD-ROM. Some of the reasons for choosing this process are:

  • Agencies save a significant amount of money on paper, copying, and shipping.
  • Most agencies have documentation already in electronic format.
  • Agencies save time preparing the Self-Study document because they only need to produce one CD and then copy it.

If you are interested in learning more about the electronic Self-Study process and/or you would like to obtain a copy of the template and instructions, contact your COA Coordinator. A copy of the template and instructions are contained on the following page of the Guidelines.

Hard Copy Self-Study
The hard copy Self-Study process allows your agency to submit its evidence of implementation in a manual format. Instructions for this process are contained on the following page of the Guidelines.
