WHAT HAPPENS AFTER OUR SITE VISIT?Immediately following the site visit, your organization should do the following:
Upon completion of the site visit, the Team Leader sends completed rating sheets with comments to COA. COA then begins preparing your Pre-Commission Review (PCR) Report. The PCR Report is an organization's site visit report and identifies only those standards that require a response and/or improvement/action steps (see Related Files) in order for the organization to achieve accreditation. COA's Pre-Commission Review (PCR) Committee is responsible for reviewing the site visit report and creating the PCR Report. Twenty (20) business days from the last day of the site visit, you will receive a copy of your PCR report. It will be accompanied by a cover letter and instructions for how to prepare the response in electronic format (see Related File for a copy of the PCR Guidelines). Some organizations may be “expedited” following their site visit based on their high level of implementation of COA’s standards. An expedited organization does not receive a PCR Report nor are they required to provide a response for review by the Accreditation Commission or the Pre-Commission Review Committee.
